The next Hot Topics veers far from the usual: it’s a walking tour of the Everett Neighborhood (we'll walk between A and K Sts., and 10th and 13th Sts.). The walk begins at 3pm Aug. 26 at the parking lot at 11th and H Sts., we will walk a loop through the neighborhood and end up back where we started.
As plans coalesce for development of one of Lincoln’s oldest neighborhoods, learn about its history, its present condition, and its possible futures. Seeing a neighborhood first hand allows us to understand its charms, its needs, and its people.
We will walk for about two hours, so bring water, wear comfortable clothing, and shoes suitable for a leisurely urban walk. We will walk rain or shine. We will have an opportunity to visit some of the neighborhood’s eateries along the way.

There is no admission fee for the walking tour, but we would appreciate a rough head count, so please register to let us know you are coming.
We will gather in the parking lot that is just south of the office building at 1111 Lincoln Mall. There is a surface parking lot behind the building that will give us a good place to group together. The parking lot is the northeast corner of 11th and H Sts.
