The Board of Education passed a bond resolution in December that will ask voters to decide whether Lincoln Public Schools should build two new high schools, district athletic complexes, and a new elementary school (at a total cost of $290 million). The election will be vote-by-mail (ballots will be mailed to registered voters in mid-January and must be returned to the Election Commissioner by February 11, 2020). Join us at Hot Topics to learn what is in the bond and what led to the Board's decision to put the resolution in front of voters. Staff from Lincoln Public Schools will help us get the scoop.
