Description: Immigrants and refugees make Lincoln more culturally diverse, economically robust, and internationally connected. Our community is among a very few across the United States that is known for encouraging and promoting immigrant and refugee integration and fostering their civic engagement. Our State leads the country in helping resettle the number of refugees per 100,000 residents. In fact, we’re nearly triple the national average. We’ll take a deep dive into Lincoln and Nebraska’s refugee resettlement process.
