What has changed in the world of advertising with student athletes?

In July, new NCAA rules went into effect that allowed college athletes to sell the rights to their names, images, and likenesses for the first time. Let's get together to learn about these changes that allow student athletes to financially benefit from their fame. We will have a panel of presenters of individuals with different perspectives: student athletes, those who are helping them to "manage" their advertising, and the businesses who are now working directly with UNL Athletics and student athletes for branding and advertising.

Presenters

  • Michael Zoerb--opendorse
  • Joe Petsick--University of Nebraska-Lincoln, College of Business
