Leadership Lincoln's programs encourage the participants to share their time, talents and treasures to benefit their organizations and the community as a whole, and aid in making matches between organizations in need and alumni. Leadership Lincoln alumni play key roles in our community, serving on boards of directors and taking an active role in events and volunteering where needed. The community benefits from the interest and commitment of our alumni.
Please consider becoming a part of one of our programs through the following sponsorship opportunities:
$5,000 Presenting Sponsor for Opening Retreat
As the Presenting Sponsor for the Opening Retreat, your gift will help underwrite the program expenses of the two-day overnight retreat that kicks off the program (accommodations, food, materials and transportation). The retreat sets the stage and lays the groundwork for the program year.
- Fellows: Using nationally recognized facilitators from Contemporary Consulting, Richmond, Indiana, this overnight event is held at the Swanson Retreat Center outside of Ashland, Nebraska. The participants focus on the concepts of Servant and Facilitative Leadership; and gain insight into their own leadership styles, understanding others, and working with groups. The activities enable participants to immediately put new skills to work in their businesses and in the community.
- YLL: The retreat is held at Camp Kitaki and participants focus on developing relationships among their classmates and developing skills in communication, collaboration, teamwork and servant leadership to leave better equipped to engage with their peers and in their communities.
$3,000 Scholarship Sponsor
As the Scholarship Sponsor for one of our leadership development programs, your gift will help underwrite the scholarship funds that allow a variety of individuals to participate in the programs. Programs are supported by a tuition fee that is assessed on each participant. However, this fee is prohibitive to some individuals. Thus, Leadership Lincoln seeks out support to be able to offer these individuals scholarships so that they may pursue their desire to learn more about and engage in the Lincoln community.
$1,000 Seminar Sponsor
As a Seminar Sponsor, your gift will underwrite the expenses of an individual seminar during the 2012-2013 program year. Programs present seminars examining the following issues in Lincoln: business, government, human services, education, healthcare, growth and development, communication/media, and community vision among others.
